Rossi's "8614" is the Italian marque's most deeply bent shape, resembling the classic Oom Paul and corresponding to Savinelli's "614" design. The shank curls upward, almost vertically, making for a compact length that hangs comfortably from the jaw, and the stretched heel and rounded Billiard bowl sit naturally in hand. Aligning more with traditional English proportions, the shank and transition are on the stouter end compared to some of Rossi's Italian neoclassic shapes — an excellent choice for those interested in an Italian-made, hands-free smoker but desire a form of more English sensibilities.

Rossi's Vittoria line is a no-nonsense series that prioritizes timeless traditionalism and a conservative presentation that draws focus to this pipe's line and form. Marked by a dark stain and rugged rustication, the Vittoria offers just the right amount of texture in hand.
